Rule 14
Service flow
(1) Civil servants should always strive to fulfill the responsibilities assigned to them in a fast, efficient, complete and quality manner.
(2) Civil servants shall give priority to the elderly, infirm, disabled, pregnant women, children and the helpless while providing services.
(3) The civil servant should complete the work of the service recipient on time. If the work cannot be completed on time due to any reason or if the work desired by the customer cannot be performed or is not possible, the basis and reason should be given to the customer concerned as soon as possible.
(4) Civil servants should provide information and advice in as simple and easy language as possible so that the general public has easy and direct access to government or public services.
(5) If any information or details in any agency of the Government of Nepal is necessary during the performance of the work of a service recipient, the employee performing such work shall arrange to obtain such information or details through his office.
